PLANTifull Fare Pod January 2022's Meeting is lunch and a tour of Lonestar Mushrooms Farm.

You have all heard that mushrooms are an amazing superfood. Well right here in Houston we have a local farmer foraging the way to give our area the opportunity to consume amazing, delicious, and powerful mushrooms while reaping the rewards of a low calorie, high nutrient, superfood.

Lone Star Mushrooms is a locally owned Houston business. Their company consists of three brothers (from oldest to youngest is Ben, John, and Michael). They are a family of five originally from Pennsylvania all currently living in the great state of Texas. Read more about their story here.

Join us on January 30, 2022 for lunch and a tour of Lone Star Mushrooms Farm where you will learn how Ben, John, and Michael started their farm, see their mushrooms growing up close and learn more about this amazing superfood.
