What better time for an outdoors gathering with old and new friends, sharing some simple foods, and to top it all off, meeting two Houston authors, Sherra Aguirre (https://sherraaguirre.com/) and Gypsy Leigh Shannon (https://www.linkedin.com/in/gypsyleigh/). Talk one on one with each and have your copy of their book signed. Gypsy Leigh will have copies for purchase available. This is a perfect opportunity to invite friends to come along to taste the food and get exposed to information and good stories on top.
Harmony N Houston is hosting this Potluck and Special Guests event at the covered pavilion in Susan and Kent's community. Many thanks for this protected and yet breezy space with plenty of room for social distancing.
Please look at the directions below. The street to the parking lot is next to the pavilion and has not yet been discovered by Google Maps, but you can see it when choosing Satellite view.
When choosing a dish to share please keep the following in mind:
• Whole foods, plant based, best no or limited oil
• Does not require heating on site
• Easy to serve (finger foods, hummus, nachos, small sandwiches, fruit, fresh vegetables, desserts)
• Keep the food simple
• Bring a recipe card listing the ingredients

Directions: 3203 Millwork St., Houston, TX 77080 (Spring Brook Village by Meritage Homes) - this will get you to the new neighborhood. The Pavilion does not have an address and Google does not know that a street connects it with Spring Brook Village Drive.
From I10 East/West take the Gessner exit and travel North on Gessner to Kemp Forest – turn right (or East) – take the next turn Left onto Teague Road into the Spring Brook Village entrance. Travel North on Teague to the stop sign – turn right (or East) Spring Brook Village Drive. Turn left at the next stop sign onto Windfern – the Pavilion will be on your right near the Activities Center. There is a parking lot for your use.
From the Sam Houston Toll Road North/South take the Clay Road Exit and turn left (East) on Clay Road towards North Gessner Road. Turn right (South) at the intersection of Clay and Gessner. Turn left at the next light – Kemp Forest. Take the next turn Left onto Teague Road into the Spring Brook Village entrance. Travel North on Teague to the stop sign – turn right (or East) Spring Brook Village Drive. Turn left (North) at the next stop sign onto Windfern – the Pavilion will be on your right near the Activities Center. There is a parking lot for your use.
